spare tank

Well... some might not have heard but skidmark died :'(... he popped the lid and ran toward the light, made it out of the yard and into the street before he was noticed...died slow poor guy, cold and dehydrated...anyways... his tank is now empty and i dont know what to put into it, it is a 55gallon that is tall rather than long, about half as long as a standard 55 and twice as tall.. ive got the goods to set it up as anything.. even the stuff for amphibians ... and will have the money for stock by the time its been cycled (cant afford 120lbs of live rock)



ideas so far are splitting the puffers into species only
(ive got 2 gsp and 2 ceylon together in a 55, will need more space sooner than later anyways)

moving the carnivores from the malawi tank

or getting a softshell turtle and just do another one of those(hear they dont escape as much)

SW tank...do it.

Discus tank.... cause its so tall the discus will love to hang out front and center..... bottom dwellers like shellies, sand dwellers, would be a waste of space... cant really get any big monsters in there, it doesnt have the length or depth I imagine....

I know you like SW, could just do that, and buy corals slowly.
