Rainbowfish Empty Rainbowfish

Since it did not seem likely for the rainbowfish eggs to survive the trip home with me from the GSAS meeting last month, I did the next best thing...I bid on some adults and was lucky enough to get these beauties of Steve Waldron's.  They have been acclimating and settling in for a month now and are doing great.  I'm loving having these in my big 125G community tank.  Enjoy.

These are F1 Chilatherina Fasciata " Faowi Village "

No Wes....I opted not to get the eggs as Mr. Lange was recommending they be put into tanks the night of the auction and we were not even going home till the next day and then I would have to get a tank ready so it would have been 2 days more for any eggs we might have bid on and won. I felt it was not appropriate to get them given the situation with us.

There were 5 adults...I think I won the auction for $42 I think  Question  and these are grown fish...so very reasonable

Thanks Chad...the colors have really come on over the last few weeks as they have finally settled in. It's nice to see that pop of red in the tank as I have the yellow on the victoriae...so good combos here ... oh and the golden on the red-eyed african tetras
