Name is Cloud. I'm new to this site but not to fishkeeping. I have a 120gal with a 10in tiger oscar, 8in map turtle and 8in pleco. Had a 240gal for my 2 other turtles. I'm in the process of upgrading them to a 420gal and will b putting native fish in. Lrgmouth bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, cental stoneroller, and channel cat. And that's about it! Excited to check out this site and talk to other Washingtonians!

How do i post pics? I can show the empty tank and my old tank. Going to pick up the new tank next sun! And i just got a huge piece of madrona for decor. I'm so excited! Trying to figure out a double sump though... It's proving a challenge...

Oh'? Double sump? Sounds like a new DYI project Smile double tank, duel overflow, duel return? Or, a single overflow split with a Y?

a majority of people upload their pictures to photobucket. from there, they copy the direct link and post it in the pop up window that appears when you click the picture + icon.....

I can't remember the exact probationary period, but once that is over, you can post to your heart's content

and also Welcome to the box!

I actually have a spare 75gal with a hole drilled in it. WAS for my snake. But he's got a better enclosure. Its just sitting there. So my thought... Put mechanical filtration in tank #1,which would be first stage, then elevate tank 1 to get water going through, water goes through pipe installed in drilled hole. Then into tank #2 full of biomedia and heater... I'm not actually sure it'll work... Never made or even used a sump system before... I've always been a canister girl... Love myself a good fx5 Razz
