lol..I KNEW you would be..lol. I just added 6 Dwarf Rainbows to my shellie tank and a few Hornwort Ferns to float around. The shellies are now coming out of the shells more readily.
Any topside fish, like Zebra Daino or the Dwarf Rainbows, all work well.
Check out mythread in the plant section..lol

Oh, you will also find your dominant male right away. He will chase the biggest dither fish and display like a mofugger!

Re: dither fish?
Some rainbows can handle the lower 8.0 for ph why some ppl use rainbows for a dither fish in african tanks, plus there fast also. I was actually thinking of adding my 3 spotted silver dollars to my 80 gal tank that im going to put my duboisi's in.

silvers are awsome, but they will die from strees because of the small group eventualy, go for at least 5.

Re: dither fish?
Technically I'm pretty sure that the Cyprichromis genus would be considered a Tanganyikan dither fish.

Re: dither fish?
just type in google search for tanganyika rainbow fish, also like larry said the cyprichromis is considered a dither fish since they stay at the upper part of the tank and considered peaceful.
Im actually going to use gold head compressiceps, a trio of them for my duboisi tank.
