Green Algae in fish tank
I am about to do a 30% water change in my tank, but before i do. Does anybody know what the green algae is on the wood in the centre of the tank, and how to remove it.

Re: Green Algae in fish tank
if it has an odd or very disticnt smell (should be able to smell it on your water as well), my vote would be cyanobacteria.

It doesn't look like algae as mention above, the color and the way its coating the wood looks like cyanobacteria.
