Old Newbe

My name is Bob. I have been away from this hobby since the 80's. I ran 3 100 gal + tanks as well as a 30, 2 55 tanks and a 70 long built into a wall. So you see I was obsesed with it. This was before the internet and the majority of captive breeding programs. Sure wish I had the internet at the time. Would have saved me a lot of confusion and heart ach.
My son has gotten into the hobby and this has rekindled my interest. While I don't have room for any tanks right now, I am able to watch my son experience this hobby.
Stumbled across Cory at Aquarium Co-Op and found this forum. I look forward participting and learning with the rest of the membership.

Welcome Bob...enjoying your hobby through your son's tanks is a great way of doing things...you get all enjoyment and fun without the maintenance part...actually you are quite lucky...LOL.

 
I'm sure the aquarium hobby has changed a lot since the 80's!!

 .oOWELCOME back to the hobby Bob. We look forward in your re-growing interest. When ready for more tanks let us know I am sure as a community we could get you going cheaper than any one LFS. In general there is always someone trying to sell or trade equipment , livestock, and plants
