Gymnos, Geos, Heros oh my
Hello so somewhat new to the forum. I have a passion for SA Cichlids. I have a 1000+ gallon fish room, 75% of that is Discus, and the rest is Assorted other Cichlids. I don't do any of the big tank buster. The Heros and Uras are the biggest size wise that I keep. Always looking for something new and interesting . Looking to get a order of Geos and Gymnos in the next couple weeks and have 40 Angels coming from one of the Top Asian Show breeders. The Angels are funny because I don't normaly play with Angels but never going to turn down awsome fish!!
Here is a pic of the Fish Room minus the 5x55g rack that goes over the 120g aging tank.

Room has its own dedicated electrical circuit and vent system. The tanks are Dutch Aquarium Systems out of a PetCo.
Shoot me a PM if you have questions or just want to talk SA Cichlids

Nice man/fish cave. Wow a whole wall of awesome fishes to look at. I would put a couch on opposite side of the tanks.

Unfortunatly my Fish room is only 7' wide and I will be running tanks down both side. I do have a stool in there, but with the discus and doing 30%to50% water changes daily. I spend alot of time with hoses in my hand.

Is your garage insulated? I see your water heater tank is insulated. How do you garage fish keeping ppl keep your wet pets warm?

Re: Gymnos, Geos, Heros oh my
We put up a new wall for the fish room. Its fully insulated and I run a small electric oil heater when needed. The garage is also insulated but the garage door leaves alot to be desired. The fish room stays at 75 due to the tank water volume without the heater running. I keep the discus tanks at 88-90deg.

Oh I have listed them like that already, but I have 300+ pics on photobucket . Loading them one at a time on a very slow internet. We live close to Flowing lake and very limited on internet providers.
