Here is a video of hank deflating from puffing up. I grabbed the camera as quick as I could but it only takes like 10 seconds from starting to deflating. This video is from last year. But a lot of people ask if he ever puffs up.

Oh my goodness I'm so jealous! Look how cute he is! I always thought having a puffer would be fun but I don't know a whole lot about them, or how many freshwater variants there are. Maybe I'll have to do some serious research and start a new obsession. Lol

He is really a cool fish. with a lot of personality I bet and I have never seen a puffer blow up before I think its time to get one and wait for it to puff up...lol...no but really I might be gettin one soon from my friend cuz he is movin and can't take him. With him so fingers are crossed. I forget what kind but he his like 14-15 inches. And I'd be getting the tank and everything.

There's been a few times Chad. When he was little I spent the first 6 months deworming him with different meds. Each time I was basically like, I hope this doesn't kill you! Cause he clearly didn't like the meds in the water.

I'm always super paranoid that water quality is good enough. I change lots of water on his tank whenever I think he might be depressed... As I tell people Hank is my son. I greet him and check on him every morning when I get to work. My worst fear is coming in and he has died from some unknown reason. With that much personality, and having him this long, it's not only me who enjoys Hank, but my whole family, all of my customers etc. It's only a matter of time. Some day I will come in and he will have passed away. I just hope it's from old age at that point after a happy long life.

Was just curious, every once in a while something goes through the tanks, sometimes there is some sort of die off. I would have to say you are the bestist fish keeper I know. One could learn losts from you, I know I have already learned a great deal from our tech talks Smile
