F1 lake xiloa managuense and Xiloensis
Just snapped a few pics, tank is a 150, holding 2x F1 male jags and xilos, and a pair of isletas, from madness' pair. Didn't get any of the pair of isletas, will try again soon.

Big xilo is easy 10", smaller about an inch smaller, big jag, pushing 13" smaller about 11".

I've always liked the xilos and yours are fantastic examples! Also like the jags..... I've currently got three jags too( 2x male, 1 female) not as large as yours, but it's crazy how well jags get along compared to other similar species

Thanks Donna and Lloyd. They are pretty happy. When I set up the 500, these 4 are going in. I'm on the lookout for frmales of both, with similar pedigree, and collection location. In my 500, I'm planning on going with these two species, as well as Nicaraguenses, and convicts. Should be a busy, and fun tank.

Would love to see this mix living in a large tank. A small community of Con's defending little areas with larger cichlids prowling around.Anthony J. wrote: In my 500, I'm planning on going with these two species, as well as Nicaraguenses, and convicts. Should be a busy, and fun tank.
