A very funny piece of software

Many of you have probably heard of this, but I just found out about it

Just heard about it from the new tosh.0 episode that was just on, and quickly looked up videos. Oh my...



I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while. I thought I would share some of the joy with you fine folks. Enjoy!

edit: what's awesome about it to me is that you don't need any special hardware or anything for this to work, just headphones and a computer. You do have to willingly participate though, but...

The gun that the Japanese Nobel Prize winners invented is pretty amazing and solves that problem, since it uses a directional mic and speaker, you can do it to people from a distance without their consent! I CAN'T WAIT!!! This needs to be released to the public ASAP

Aww, I can't do it with my headphones, they are made for voice chat and it's set up so I can hear myself through the microphone without a delay as well as the delay, so it doesn't really work. I will have to see if my roommate's headphones will work better when he gets home

even with the software that you need to download? I thought it worked with any headset, as long as you have a microphone to record your voice.. hmmm

Tried it on my phone, but I need better headphones as I can still hear myself talking. Definitely entertaining though.

It works, I just have to use a different mic than the one that is attached to the headset.

For some reason, the headset I have has a hard circuit that plays whatever goes into the mic out of the headset, probably so that you can hear yourself talking and don't sound like an idiot. Basically, I think my headphones have a built-in "anti-jammer" by making my voice always play in realtime through the headset. Instead of only hearing the delayed playback, I can hear both, so it just sounds like a very fake echo.

I can do it if I use my laptop's built-in mic instead though, and it works pretty well. Maybe I will shoot a video of my tank tomorrow while using this, should be hillarious
