DSM Before and After
So I decided to redo this tank 2 months ago because of a bad misshap.
So now.... Here's the pics :]
Ps... plant ID time anyone? :]
I'll upload a vid later without any shaking (I hope)

Re: DSM Before and After
Fantastic growth! Is this amazonia, or fluval stratum?

WOW MAN! I didn't think you'd see this so fast! O_O

It's a mix of 4 different types of substrates
Carib-sea (idk the plant one)
Safe-t-sorb
Fluval Ebi
Some amazonia 2 powder.

Ah yes, you're the mad mixer. Good results!
What are you doing up at this hour anyway, aren't you on vacation!?

Thanks for sharing about the substrate. I am researching substrates for a new future set up & have been weighing on the side of mixing a couple... NeatO

Haha, that was my wife's guess: "Is he STILL up?"BillHN wrote:

All my tank lights are off from 7pm until 7am at the very earliest (most come on at 9am or 10am). Aquaria are pretty boring when the lights are off. Are you still rockin' it timer-less?

Cool, puts my video to shame for sure, but mine is my first planted tank, I assume you have been doing this for a while? It looks like you have anyway, it's awesome you can fit all those little plants in 3 gallons. Amano Jr...?

Another gorgeous one...I'm impressed. Yes, I would love to have a few of the snail - those are so cute. :-)
