Lets see go hiking or watch a ball being hiked. Looks like we are all watching football... man we are a lazy group.  

Only cichlid people like Football

the only sport worth a damn is sailing, and that's extremely exciting on the boat- but to watch, not so much

football? baseball? hockey? id rather have my eyes gouged out and placed in those mini betta boxes I hate so much than to watch any of em..
id love to go hiking, but yea- need advance notice to clear the schedule...and helps to know where/how far, et cetera

For some reason, this post struck me as funny. I pictured a guy sitting at home, wondering how he could lure people into the woods to kill them. He looks over at his fish tank and says, "Of course! Fish people!"

Water change and football! Go Hawks   Thanks for asking though, but the only hiking I do anymore includes a set of golf clubs and stupid little white ball that doesn't always go where I want it to.

LuminousAphid, sounds like this may be something cool to do and sounds like you may have a few that are interested. How about picking a future hike, that would be cool.

Yes, next time I plan a hike, I will try to post here with advance notice if I can (sometimes I don't really plan in advance)

Then, if anyone wants to PM me with contact info so we can meet up, that would certainly work

Here's a hike I want to do before the season is over- if I can catch it after the first snow, that would be awesome. Cascade Pass, out of Marblemount:

  A Fishbox hike would be killer, we all need more bonding time!

This is a great idea! I'd love to carve out some time to go on a hike... Maybe to a mountain lake or something.....
