Hiking partners
Yo guys,
I just realized
I can ask people here
if they want to go hiking -
you should totally come
we're going tomorrow
PM me if you'd like
I can pick you up
and we'll hike
- Ryan

Re: Hiking partners
the only sport worth a damn is sailing, and that's extremely exciting on the boat- but to watch, not so much
football? baseball? hockey? id rather have my eyes gouged out and placed in those mini betta boxes I hate so much than to watch any of em..
id love to go hiking, but yea- need advance notice to clear the schedule...and helps to know where/how far, et cetera

Re: Hiking partners
For some reason, this post struck me as funny. I pictured a guy sitting at home, wondering how he could lure people into the woods to kill them. He looks over at his fish tank and says, "Of course! Fish people!"
Re: Hiking partners
Water change and football! Go Hawks Thanks for asking though, but the only hiking I do anymore includes a set of golf clubs and stupid little white ball that doesn't always go where I want it to.

Re: Hiking partners
Haha I was surprised to see so many replies, but I didn't realize that (real) games are going to be on now! Oh well, it was totally worth it:
We were at the top of that mountain, Mount Persis (Little sister of Mount Index)
My friend & poodle on the summit
Mount Index, West Face (Mount Baring in background)
Long way down... (Proctor Creek drainage)
Wind Bonzai - This is probably hundreds of years old

Re: Hiking partners
Again, lets get back on track.
LuminousAphid, sounds like this may be something cool to do and sounds like you may have a few that are interested. How about picking a future hike, that would be cool.

Re: Hiking partners
Yes, next time I plan a hike, I will try to post here with advance notice if I can (sometimes I don't really plan in advance)
Then, if anyone wants to PM me with contact info so we can meet up, that would certainly work
Here's a hike I want to do before the season is over- if I can catch it after the first snow, that would be awesome. Cascade Pass, out of Marblemount:

Re: Hiking partners
This is a great idea! I'd love to carve out some time to go on a hike... Maybe to a mountain lake or something.....
