Never seen one of these...

I am hoping somebody can tell me what in the world this thing is? It is to the right of the bigger and smaller mushrooms...it looks to be some sort of pest anemone, though it does not match any of the pictures I have seen. It's tentacles have a barbed appearance and they curl inward to the mouth randomly. Its mouth is red and white. Has anyone seen one of these or know what it is? The pictures do not show as well as they do on my phone

I think that's what it is! I didn't even consider anything else other than some type of anemone. It has moved and I don't know where it is now. Than you very much:)

 

hmmm wow. thats not a brittle star. i have never seen one of those. that is pretty cool though. it does not look like a pest. has it shown back up yet?
