Today I took a lunch trip to Jerry's rock world to see if there were any cool rocks for a hard scape. The store is easy to find off of West Valley Hwy with a sign that could have easily been created by the student body of some highschool.


Definitely an interesting place. Upon entry you're greeted by this big triceratops skull and a big Dinosaur bone. Most likely a femur.


There are a ton of agates and various rocks of all sizes. I'm pretty sure they have been collected by Jerry himself. =)



There were also small bins of some colla and dead wood.


And in a jam packed back part of the store were just bins of rocks. Coulddn't name them all but there were lots of petrified wood, obsidion, and others



The bins were piled high and I wanted to go rock climbing until I saw this sign.



$1.50 for petrified wood is a hella of a deal.



Look at this beauty! I'll be back to pick her up once I getsettled into the new house.

I love that place. Never even thought of going there for aquarium rocks!
