Plants - What Are They? Empty Plants - What Are They?

I got this with some other plants I traded with PokeSephiroth, freebies I guess. lol But I figured I would post them hear to see what they are. Very Happy

This one I am curious as to what the plant on the left side is, and the one directly beneath the betta.

Here's some different angles:

This one, I'm not entirely sure where it came from. It looks like an aponogeton of some sort, though the base stem seems too rigid.

I put all the mysterious plants together, surrounding my pleco cave. lol

Second photo is guppy grass for sure - najas guadalupensis. It's very pretty (usually stays bright green), very brittle (and each piece that breaks off will grow a new plant), and grows like gangbusters. Kind of like guppies Very Happy

Ah, thank you! I suppose once it over crowds the tank its in, I'll comb it down and put most of it with the guppies. Lol

the third picture, is jungle val, according to Ron, because I got those from Ron during the Swap. LOL!! They were doing pretty well in my tank, I was intrigued by the "stripe" markings on the leaves, I wasn't too sure if they're supposed to look like that, or not... but yeah... pretty neat little specimens. Very Happy

As for the fourth picture, I think it's a small amazon sword plantlet. The rigid stem looks like one of the runners that sprout off from an amazon sword. I don't remember where I got that from, LOL...

Hi CrazedAce,

These are what they look like to me.

1) Najas guadalupensis
2) Vallisneria sp 'Tiger'
3) A 'baby' Echinodorus species

She isn't for sale. I'm going to breed her as many times as possible, though it will probably only ne 2-3 times as not to kill her.
