These reds are my favorite, all are over 5inches and this is my show tank! I currently have about 50 fry from a female

to start, wonderful fish. however i think you should remove that male auratus (dark black/brown fish with lateral stripping) hes going to get huge and just kill everything he feels displeased with. lovely fish minus that little guy. anyways keep up the good work, feels lonely being an african lover on here

Already got rid of the auratus, just old pics. I don't really like those, and they are nasty fellows.

Nice looking fish. You don't see those Victorians in a store very often.

I actually like auratus. I've been keeping African cichlids for about 10 years now and have never been without one. They were terrible in groups, but a single male has never caused problems in my tanks.

Is that a P. electra in the first pic? Good looking fish.
