thoughts on corner aquariums
I have been thinking about upgrading my bedroom tank from a 35 hex to a corner tank of around 50 gallons. I use my bedroom tank as my grow-out tank(by grow-out, i mean until they reach 2- 3 inches), and the hex really isn't cutting it(taking too long). I don't have the room for a traditional tank footprint, so I wanted to gather some opinions of people who have or had the corner tanks. They look nice and would fit nicely in the corner where I could enjoy them, but what are their pros /cons.
Thanks in advance.

Corner tanks are hard to light, hard to provide good water flow. Just my oppinion

Naso, what's the footprint size of your 75? How far out does it reach from the 90 degree angle in the back?

I love the look of a corner tank but have never owned one. What about something like my column I have upstairs? I see these on craigslist pretty often. Not too bad a footprint 30x18x24.

oh yeah, that would work too! I really like your tank. Do you happen to know what the going rate is on tanks like that?

Re: thoughts on corner aquariums
Brand new at Petsmart I think $299, on sale often $239. That is for tank, stand, glass top and light.
I got mine with all that and 2 HOB filters, heater, rocks, decor, tons of food for $75 on craigslist. The problem is most people expect too much for this so it might be tricky to get it cheap. But there was like 4 on Craigslist when I got mine, I think the reason I got mine for the good price is because the guy was a lousy picture taker and no one responded to his ad for a long time.
