DIY 55 gallon Barrel holding tanks.

I found this picture on a totally unrelated search. Anyone ever seen something like this in person or made some themselves? The barrels can be found for like $15.

Liams petshop in chinatown keeps small koi in those blue barrels

I never thought to do something like that. I have access to those types of barrels at work. Granted they have a water based floor wax in them but with a good rinse you could use them for that purpose.

thats a great idea. i would love to do this in a yard if i had a yard i could use for it. also set it up to the gutter to collect rain water for water changes. would save some money big time.
