Re: new kribensis pair
I believe that Kathy caught the parents and the F1's are the ones that are making the circuit.
Re: new kribensis pair
To set the record straight....The parents came from Brenda T., a member of the GSAS, I raised one batch of fry from them and distributed them to several people and a school. Now, where Brenda T. got them, I have no idea. Can you come up with the earlier lineage from this information?
Aquaman, I'm glad you got them and hope they do well for you. They are fun to breed and watch them raise their young. I think Kribs were the first cichlid species I had breed for me. That was a hundred years ago, so I had to get them and breed them again when i restarted theis hobby last year!!!!!
Way to keep things moving, Anthraxx!!!!

Re: new kribensis pair
lol ron i dont even bother posting fish anywhere else anymore. sooner or later someone always seems to take em off my hands. and most times its to really great homes. plus its always nice to hear back from em a year later with pics of how well my old fish turned out . btw aqua i will have lots of yellow labs available soon. currently growing out two batches of fry with another otw. also have yellow tail acei and labeotropheus fuelleborni (blueberry variety) for sale soon as well. ideally some auratus and rusties as well but theyve been hit or miss lately. anyways lemme know if any of this peaks ur interest, all will be priced to move and u can check out the parents on many of my posts. (its the 125 tank)
