My Dovii Pair 1st Spawn

went in to feed everyone this morning to find tubes down and a couple hundred eggs on their rock . this is their first spawn and the males about 6" and the females right around 5". these fish have some incredible potential and are loving the 240 basically to themselves . the female has more blue in her face and fins than most ive seen and the males colors are amazing. cant wait to see this pair get to monster size and as usual thanks for watching

Thats about the size of my gold pair. Maybe I will be getting some soon.

thanks i wasnt expecting a spawn so soon but they seem to know what they are doing and i think them having a pretty large tank really helped. they are for sure gonna be a staple in my fishroom for quite some time

Yes they will. My pair is about 3 years old. He is 20" now and she is probably 13". Still more growing to do. Enjoy them while they are small and innocent. cause at 20" he can cause a massive title wave with a flip of his body. I swear he laughs every time he does it.

yeah hopfully in a couple years when hes aproaching 20" id like to get them in a 8x3x2 360. hes already put on a decent amount of size in the couple months ive had them and they should be beastly in no time. im excited to see if the female retains all the blue she has as she grows

He is so cute. Ya it would be cool. I have only seen gold females.

ive also only seen green/gold colored females
