Guess what the Cichlids are.

ok so i cam across this add on Craigslist

"Cichlids
We have a pair of cichlids that we no longer have room for. They have to be in separate tanks. They are completely free. Very low-maintainance pets, you just have to feed them and clean the tanks once in a while. We will give you the tanks, the food, the filters... everything you need to take care of them. We just ask that they go to a good home. We really hate to get rid of them."





sooo I called the person and asked if they knew what kind of cichlids they were...he was like uhhhhh no.

ok I asked what size tanks they were...and he was like eeehhh I dunno aaahh average size tank?..

So I asked if he could give me rough size so if I came up they would fit in my car..and he said they would both fit in to a small car.


So i have no clue on what I might be getting....lol any one wanna take a blind stab at what I might be getting?

you're getting (likely) oscars, convicts, or something african.
the tanks will be 20 gallons or less.

ok turned out its 2 10 gallons..one with an Aqueon 10 gallon filter an a Marineland bio wheel 10 gallon.

some really nasty decorations..lol an some stupid ones..and some rusty ones woot.
and just nasty water and crusty stuff all over the tank.

he said he thought they were brother an sister fish..turns out they are two decent size male cons..nice looking to or will be once they are settle in..they both got dumped in to my 70 gallon with some deco.

any one want some free cons?

yeah allot of the cars are covered in rust.

oh well hopefully i can find these guys a home..if not ..well i have been planning on making homemade fish food ...they are in an empty 70 at the moment..thats just been set up and running waiting for my stand.
