Help Identify Cichlid Empty Help Identify Cichlid

Hi Members, As the title said I need help identifying my cichlid I had it for a while now in my main thank but never know what type of cichlid he is. I saw him shaking a lot and was doing research on why they shake. It came down that he was mating or something like that. Any ways he is as big as a dollar bill and is orange and yellow. Heres the picture of him.

Looks a lot like my hybrid Labidochromis caeruleus x Metriaclima estherae... (that I purchased as fry labeled pure L. caeruleus many years ago Mad ). I've read that it's very common for these to cross breed.

And I could be wrong -- I'm not too good at IDing. Embarassed

Here's a picture of mine for comparison.

It could be a red zebra (M. estherae), but there's something about the head that looks like it might have some yellow lab in it (L. caeruleus). scratch

Yeah I've been trying to figure it out but cant come up with anything. My guess was the same as you guys/gals but the size of a hybrid zebra just doesn't grow as big as mine and hes growing bigger too.

Hybrid species can be affected by "hybrid vigor" but not always. This could easily explain his larger size.
