Rescaped my little brevis tank
The shells I had in here for several years were dissolving away and looking pretty bad so I ordered new ones. Then the new shells made the sand and rocks look bad so I changed those as well.
I went with some white sand I had around.

They didn't waste any time choosing new shells.

Then the new shells, sand and rocks made the tank look.... so then there was a new tank.
Nice!
Shell dwellers intrigue me. Tank is looking very nice.

nice setup betty!! just my two cents but that shell in the dead center of your tank is no good. its a fish trap waiting to happen. ive lost shellies to similar shells. either way nice setup.

Re: Rescaped my little brevis tank
Thanks guys.
Ron, I won't be at the party. I'll be in the area, but we're taking our son to dinner for his birthday. I had considered asking him if he'd want to go to a potluck with a bunch of fish geeks, but I already know what his answer would have been.
Anthraxx, I will remove that shell. I actually had thought about it because it was different from the rest, but liked the color so I left it. I've turned it over since taking this picture and I don't think anything can get into it. There are only the two male brevis in this tank, like it's been for years and they are too big to get into that shell, but you never know when one might try. Thanks!
