Angelfish Fin Problem
I have a recently acquired a few Angelfish. Their tail fins are cramped up for some reason. I have one Angel whose tail is fanned out but the rest are closed up. I have done a water change and have added MELAFIX. I have also turned up the heat to 80. Is there anything else I can do to help them? Is it just stress related from the move? I have looked it up on the internet and can't find anything about it. HELP!

Re: Angelfish Fin Problem
Keep a very close eye on the fish. There has been a number of fishkeepers who have been experiencing problems lately.
Bacterial infections can also cause the fish to clamp up their fins. Melafix is a good fist step if you suspect something, along with salt. Sometimes it hard to diagnose due to symptoms fitting multiple conditions. Just watch for any other changes such as loss of appetite, stringy white poo, fungus around mouth or fins.
