We just placed our order today after meeting the min limit, we were able to get some rare ones that just arrived this weekend.. We will be doing more pre-orders again, as more stock will arrive from Africa.

Just curious, because there seems to be some debate, are you making money off this?

if you count the electricity, the food, the water bill ,the shipping cost to bring em here, gas....no. I break even and enjoy trying different species.

I'd probably make $$ from my fry, like most hobbyists do. Usually I spend on more fish and supplies!

Hell, I will have some free fry..no one wants to BUY convicts!

one of my first cichlids was convicts too..30 yrs ago. Our only source to find fishes was books and the LFS.

now there came the internet, it's a whole new world to explore. Gotta have it...
