Re: WATER COW!
A scientific name would be nice. I Googled water cow and came up with this as the second result ... India to launch cow urine as soft drink.

Re: WATER COW!
Water cows are cool fish, not a bad price neither seen one here going for alot more then 35-45 bucks. They remind me of the wolffish as far as pattern and shape goes. Still waiting for one of those.

no they just sit and wait for fish to swim by ,then they nail them .the only other time i saw them was 25 years ago in Spokane a guy in a shop was hand feeding it .
there s allot of information on the web about them.im just learning about them myself, the ones i have seem pretty lazy ,i have put baby convicts with them and it triggered a bit of a chase ,they seem to get mad when they miss.

Re: WATER COW!
They look just like a marbled goby I used to have. It was a pretty awesome fish, used to bury down into my sand to hide.

Re: WATER COW!
these guys are kool ,they are scale less ,some confuse them with the jade goby or the sleeper goby ,
when they are chillen they are a light marble color ,when they are hunting or mad they get dark sides with a light brown down the middle of them from head to tail ,
they change color rite before your eyes ,i demonstrate it all day long at the shop ,
total oddball fish

Re: WATER COW!
It was good meeting you as well. I want to get some good sized L091's I really don't want to wait 4 years for mine to grow so they can breed.
And as long as the water cow is fair priced I told my girlfriend we could get one (I don't really know their pricing)
Also on the 6th as per your suggestion , we are going to make a trip up to conway tropical fish and then to that eatery you suggested. The name slips my mind.
I look forward to visiting your shop again.
