I'm new to this kind of thing so here's what I can think of to say.. I live in Raymond and there isn't much chance of buying the fish I want around here.. The closest being in Aberdeen, 25 miles up the road.

I've been away from this for a few years and I formally had fancy goldfish. I'm just now setting up a new 70 gallon tank. I need some fish. I.m interested in African Cichlids. So far thae tank has turned over nicely and I have 5 little Goldfish frolicing in it to help things along. But now it's time for fish.

I'd like to start with 8 nice colorful Peacock Cichlids. I'm open to any other ideas if you care to contribute.

Welcome, ffreddfish!

Good to see another possible African cichlid keeper here. I keep mostly mbuna and have been getting into some of the Tangs this past year or so.

Are you looking to do an all male peacock tank?

An all male tank sounds like a good Idea.. I wonder if that would make them more aggressive. Peacocks or maybe Birchardi. I have had some experience with Mbuna, as I remember they were very aggressive. I dont want to get into something that I won't like down the road
