I am looking for a zaire frontosa and a purple zaire frontosa both F1's hopefully and 1'' or 2'' I want to raise it myself. I have always dreamed of having one of these fishes but now I can't find them... is anyone breeding out there that has some?

Are you planning to just have 2 of these fish? They generally do much better in groups of 6 or larger.

I used to have wild colonies of kitumbas (purple zaires) and kapampas (blue zaires.) back out in Michigan. I do know of a breeder that do have these and can ship em out here. Right now I have a group of wild Karemas (similiar to Mpimbwes) and one is holding right now.

However, shipping would be approx 55-60 bucks for a box of fishes, are you looking to have a colony or just a few?
