My new Festae and Umbee's Empty My new Festae and Umbee's

Post  Madness 2010-12-08, 18:18

Just thought that I would share a couple pics of a couple new additions, a male Festae, & 4 Umbee's. Anyone with a little female Festae out there, let me know. This guy is about 6". The Umbee's range from 3" to 5".

My new Festae and Umbee's Empty Festae????

madness,
the fish in question is 100% Uro/Mayan. the smaller fish rattle referenced is certainly Festae. to the untrained eye its hard to tell the difference. i have been addicted to Festae since 1978, for me the difference between the 2 is like night and day. even though there are similarities, the 2 species are not identical especially at maturity.

Oh I know. I have come to the conclusion to except it. Smile I have 2 female Uro's so getting a male was not that bad of news. But for what I paid for him, which wasn't much, I thought I was getting a screamin deal on a male Festae. OK though, I accept it. Sad
