Snow in Grays Harbor.
Well we got about 4" today in Grays Harbor. Thought I'd share a couple of funny pictures, and hopefully I'll get some scenery pictures on tomorrow. The camera was dead today and I didn't get any before I got the ones of my cat. lol He is an indoor cat but has a 6" tall dog kennel he goes in outside. And usually when the weather is nice he asks to go outside and sunbathes. Today he thought he needed to go out when it was snowing. I waited until the snow was done though. And at first he thought it was alright, until his paws got cold.
"Hey mom this stuff is fluffy and isn't bad, I think I remember it at my last home" (canada)
"Moooooooom!!!! It's COOOOOOOOLLLD!!!!!!!"
lol he was then unhappy his paws were cold and was screaming to go inside!

Re: Snow in Grays Harbor.
Sidekicking- he normally is in his kennel but I didn't want to mess with the cold metal lol so I put him on the leash. He's a special breed so I legally can't let him roam around (per signed contract) cause people will hunt him for his pelt.
Alexmuw-They plowed the roads here and it's 28 here now, so I'm sure we'll have black ice too. Drive safe!!

In China, some cat owners walk around with their leshed cat. Just like walking dogs!

Re: Snow in Grays Harbor.
He freezes when I put a harness on him, lol. It's pretty funny, actually that's how I clip his claws because he doesn't fight. The breed he is is known for being leash trained and easily traveled with. If I catch him in the right mood he will play fetch a few times lol He's like a dog. He even greets me at the door when I come home.

When stretched out, he is almost 3 feet long. He's a big cat! However my female cat is about 18 lbs. lol

Beautiful cat! Parker and I were looking at Mau's a few years ago but decided to go with a different pair. If I'd seen a bengal around I would have changed my mind though. LOL

He's gorgeous! If only I wasn't allergic to cats, I'd want one too!

Re: Snow in Grays Harbor.
Larry.Beck- there are two different colors, I love snow leopards so I went with the silver bengal but there is also a "brown rosette" they are gorgeous too! They look like a leopard.
alexmuw- you need a sphinx lol they are hairless and almost completely allergy free. lol But kind of homely and alien like looking haha

I live in Aberdeen Aaron. Last I heard Westport has no snow, and it's been snowing off and on all day. Some has melted but we still have about 3" on the ground right now.

Re: Snow in Grays Harbor.
It really started coming down hard right near the ocean spray factory and all the way to almost poulsbo, before it let up. Then a ferry ride to seattle and no snow all the way to Bonney Lake where we had about 2".

WOW that's crazy!! We've had probably 6" total but it melts off slowly. It's 23 deg here but we keep getting a wind that makes it colder. There is a river right down at the bottom of our hill. My dad has to drive to Chehalis (about an hour and half away) but luckily it's his days off! lol He's got a little toyota corolla!

Re: Snow in Grays Harbor.
I left from the Issaquah/Bellevue area at 3:30pm to go to the airport. My sis in laws plane got delayed from Spokane 3 times but I didn't get there until 6:05, she got in at 4:50.
The traffic coming back was much better after sitting at Denny's for am hour, waiting for traffic to clear. Now I get to drive her up to Tulalip today, oh joy! So glad I brought my snow tires when we went back home last time!!!
Down near Southcenter it was straight black ice, and cars were sliding sideways on the off ramps because it was so slick. Alot of cars couldn't even get going. The freeways were MUCH better, since they were still compact snow.
Supposed to be sunny and 29* today though!
