He's the only fish I have ever named. Omar. I got him from APFP and he's already had one successful spawn and one unsuccessful. Just thought I'd share.

Wow... beautiful coloring. I only name my fish that have a personality.

I give it a couple more months until he kills the other male in the tank lol. Here is some back story as to why I named him that. Hehe

The following are characters who have worked with Omar Little on the HBO drama The Wire. Omar and his associates make their living robbing drug dealers. For the first three seasons, he mainly targets the Barksdale Organization. Later, he goes after the Stanfield Organization, culminating with a robbery of the entire New Day Co-Op.

My boyfriend recently obtained two Ruti Islands. I hope they turn out as nice as this "red"!

The closest pictures that resembled my reds so much was the ruti island. Good luck with two though, my second male has some scales missing. Not to mention he has red and yellow on him but his black bars go missing most of the time.

Update. I just stripped a mother on Sunday. As of right now I have the other three mothers holding right now. I'm so excited. This time I actually got to see the momma lay and eat her eggs. I tried to get video of it but Omar likes to go under his slate to get down and dirty.
