Thank you Spyral and Lars on, who did a great job catching fish. They are really cute. I love them!

It was nice to see/meet you all as well.
The plecos have each found a spot to hide now and are making pictures hard to get!

Re: Leopard frog plecos (Spyral)
I've tried to get updated pictures, but they haven't been very cooperative, always zipping into their hiding spots when they see the camera and usually even when they see me!

Re: Leopard frog plecos (Spyral)
It's been over a year since I posted any pictures, so here are some new ones. They are still pretty much the same, but I changed the sand several months ago.

Re: Leopard frog plecos (Spyral)
I thought he wouldve gotten a little bigger.... probably only 2-3 inches right.... jeez.. It would look so cool if they got giant like a regular pleco.

Re: Leopard frog plecos (Spyral)
Sand, they are bigger than when I first got them, but not much bigger in the past year. I would guess they're around 3 inches.
Madness, I hadn't thought about selling them, but if I ever do, you'll be the first to know. Do you see anything in those pictures that lead you to believe the one in most of the shots is a male? I've always thought they were female.

Re: Leopard frog plecos (Spyral)
Ron, that's a Pseudocrenilabrus multicolor Victoriae. I have two males that don't get along so I had to stick one in with the plecos.

Re: Leopard frog plecos (Spyral)
That is a beautiful species. I don't recall seeing them before. What is the smallest size tank they would be happy in?

Re: Leopard frog plecos (Spyral)
Well the reading I did before I got them said they could be kept in a tank as small as 20 (long) gallons, but that did not work out for mine. The males are very aggressive toward each other. That small of a tank might work with one male and a few females.
