Any suggestions where to get plants in the Tacoma area

Looking to put a few live plants in my 75g community tank... Any one have any good spots in the south sound? Seems like most threads on the subject are places up north.

lol most of the better fish/plant stores are in Seattle... i feel your pain of being close but not just a quick run across town... if you don't mind mail order pm and ill send you a good link for a place that has very nice plants then all you have to do is wait for the mail man to come to you Wink

A Place for Pets in Burien has a nice selection of plants. The best selection it is at The Fish Store on Roosevelt followed by Aquarium Plus. Tuesday will be a mini auction at GSAS meeting. If you say what plants you are looking for you may find at the auction.

The PetCo on 100th & Bridgeport has a nice open tank set up just for plants, and they threw some goldfish & koi in it just for the heck of it. They don't have a huge selection, but once in a while they get a very nice Anubias in. If you don't mind potted/tubed type, the PetSmart in the Lakewood Towne Center has a few there too. But nothing like the PetCo.
