Hi from North Bend
My name is Jeff. I've been keeping fish for 15 years now I guess. I've kept everything from C. frontosa to S. natteri. I'm running barely 150 gallons right now. Just a few 50 gallon freshwaters, a 29 gallon freshwater and a 14 gallon biocube mini reef.
I really enjoy looking at the pictures that some of you have taken of your tanks, some are spectacular.

I keep snakes and tarantulas as well so it's kind of fitting.

Mikey I have to be honest - I'm REALLY BAD at taking decent pics of fish or fish tanks. Snakes and tarantulas are no problem, fish and tanks are another thing. The freshwater tanks just have some odds and ends right now as I just moved to the area. I lost all of my africans during the move. I couldn't get a tank setup for them the first night and lost em all. In one 50 gallon I have a few goldfish mutations, a black skirt (I use skirts for cycling tanks), 2 guppies and a 10yr old spotted raphael. In another 50 gallon I have uhh.. A huge angel fish, some blue gourami, a striped raphael and a female beta....and some black skirts I think. Like I said, nothing special anymore. I lost all of my frontosa and duboisi in the move.
14gallon biocube has a true percula - some random goby - various snails, sea cucumbers, emerald crab, 3 blue legged hermit crabs and about 20lbs of live rock over live sand. Nothing special but pretty. I do like the biocube's quite well. Easiest tank I've ever had to deal with honestly.

Welcome Jeff.
We will be looking forward to pictures and any input you may have to help out in the saltwater forums too.

Well hopefully one day you can get back into cichlids But those sound fun for now! Are they in planted tanks?
And that's cool that you think the biocube is easy to deal with! I've heard great things about them!

I've downsized alot with the snakes so I mostly keep ball python morphs at the moment. I do have a pair of bredli as well. It varies I guess, at times I will have 100+ snakes.
Tarantulas - I love Brachypelma and Poecilotheria especially the pokes.

Thank you! I've kept a few kenyans over the years. If you like them then you'd like these little snakes that are native to washington state called Rubber Boas (Charina bottae) - They're about the same size but native to this state and can be kept at room temp.
Re: Hi from North Bend
Cool, I'll have to check them out. I used to keep red tails and Columbians, but don't have the time or patience for them right now..lol. KSB's are the easiest snake to care for.
