THE CURSE OF THE 46!

Moved the contents of the 45 into the 46 as sadly, a nitrate spike killed all sisses goldies, so I got the bowfront back. Currently houses one Frontosa and one moliro firecracker (sorry sand, I killed almost all of em ): )

Got the tank finished about 3 hours ago, the tank looks AMAZING with the lights out in the room. An jack got his tank ON A STAND! Not in the 45 stand, hes super happy.

3 fronts in a 46 gallon is too many fronts.... they just get too big for that tank... 1, or 2 would be the most I would put in that tank. That blue on him is AMAZING! seriously, he is probably one of the most gorgeous burundi I have ever scene.. *pats myself on the back* that was a good pick!

You killed all my trophs ..... Well, this just shows how difficult and fragile the trophs are. Doesnt take the slightest thing and they get bloat, if not treated immediatly they die quick! Lars- I got a couple secrets on helping sick trophs if you want to get some more and try again. and duboisi maswa are a little more hardy, so thats what I would suggest.

Oh yeah.... I LOVE YOUR TANK!! needs more tang fish though... maybe calvus, shellies, more trophs, something??!??

Well, I would check your intake to your canister filter... make sure they didnt get sucked up there.... cause you should itleast have bodies... if you cant find them they will rot and mess up your water parameters... that wont be good!

No i dont want the moliro back! lol, thanks though, it was a gift... hopefully you wont kill him/her... cause it will be gorgeous with the blues in the front.... you could get calvus, or shellies... but not both.... the calvus will hunt the shellies out in the night.... so thats your call

Sounds like an ammonia spike! sorry lars... I went thru the same thing.... with sensitive fish like trophs you gotta do the whole itleast 1 week cycle after 100% water change, even if your keep your canister and sponges....

I swear to god this tank is cursed, every fish that we have had die, has died in the 46.
