Hacked the top off a novelty light I got a while back (probably from Spencer Gifts) that has blue LED lights in it. Was a little bright so I put a post in note diffuser down. Plan to paint the outside black so it does not reflect off the wall behind the tank.

it is in a 50 gal.. the light points down so the ends of the tank stay dark.
