Mega convict

While at my local fish store buying some frozen krill for my puffers I ran across a mammoth male convict.  I inquired about him and was told I could take him home for 5 bucks as he was overrun with normal sized cons.  He has a nuchal hump that rivals a male Midas and his total length is right around 6.5" .   

Now here's the kicker. Put him in my big tank with my trimac and he wasn't having it so I moved him into my community with my Red Devils, chanco, kanna, and baby trimacs.  And a couple of others.....
Thought he would get along great, and that's an understatement 


My wild caught cryptoheros kanna which I thought was a male turned out to be a female and she laid eggs tonight and they are guarding them.  My mind is blown!

Lloyd you convict reminds me of another fishbox member who had a monster con. Zerc has went salt and not been around here much but his little con had some attitude
