Episode #3 with DRD62

Here it is fish fanatics.  This one got long, but Darren has a lot of awesome fish and tanks to cover.

It's cool to watch these and see/learn about fish I would never have. My cat frequently watches Fish-O-Vision and this video became no exception. haha He's kinda like the Trimac, a pain in the butt but cool to look at

1st...Shawn...great video, yes, a bit long but still fun. 

2nd...DRD...WOW is all I can say.  Your tanks are pristine and beautifully kept.  Your fish and the assortment that you have is incredible.  I loved that melanurus...a very handsome fellow.  Yes, breed him...yes.  Thank you for sharing your fish hobby with us through this visit.  It is clear how much you love it.

I do have a recommendation or request I guess.  Would it be possible to have the owners make a "species" list for us or for you Shawn, to put the scientific names right into the videos?  Or maybe even both?

Actually it is dRd's video, DMD was Episode #2.
Not a bad idea Donna, Ill see about doing that on the next video. We do say the names of them throughout the video, but flashing it on the video sounds fun. Or maybe at the end roll the names of the fish like credits in a movie.

It almost made me cry when you insulted your Tapajos by calling them redheads though.

LOL, I know they are Orange Heads, its almost like calling the Rivilatus a Green Terror.  Its so common these days, we almost forget that it is a Rivilatus and a Green Terror is a Stalsbergi, and Red Head Tapajos are actually Orange Head.

At least with green terrors, they've been miscalled it for over 40 years now. Orangeheads are so new, and yet people want to call them the same name as a much, much uglier geo when they have a perfectly unique name. And it's not a confusion issue back in the day like it was with green and red terrors, it was a retail/marketing thing!!! It's a personal crusade for me!!! One that is failing miserably.   

Great video! It's time for Darren to get himself an umbee or something that gets larger than the trimac( which by the way was a beast in his own right)

I will fix that in my brain, and make sure I call them correctly.

Finally got an opportunity to watch the entire video this morning. Very nice tanks Darren! I love that big trimac and also the bocourti.
