IDK, an idea that popped into my head when I noticed small pieces of wood lying around. So far I've embedded a magnet in a small piece of cut off bog wood and attached  flame moss on it. It's small , like 3" by 3" and looks pretty neat stuck to the wall in my nano tank.

Here is another piece of bog wood leaning on a large LOG I've aquascaped destined for the nano tank once I get all the dang algae out of it. Not the best pict, just a quick shot. It is completely flat on the other side, cut it off a large LOG months ago. It fits perfectly standing on end flat against the glass in my 9.5 nano. I had to pull it out though due to algae issues. As you can see the Anubias petite and flame moss is growing pretty good.

I've got a few more small pieces of wood and a few plans in my head. Anyone else have large or small aquascaped woods?

Well, I do kinda *have* to read every post... but truth be told, reading this is a heck of a lot more fun than some of the boring presentations I have to sit through at work...

Back to the topic, thanks for the pointer Wes. Chad, let me know if you got some spare peacock to do some trading Smile

left of the camera reflection- more flame moss. It's the same wood. The wood goes straight up but has a large knot that hooks to the left on the bottom and in the middle. I can try to get a better picture later. It was kind of a quick snap shot.

Still a work in progress. I bought a bunch of wood and I soaked it in my 29 gallon tank to get it to sink... then I really liked where it settled, so I never got to setup the fissidens on it Smile I have the fissidens spread through my 5 gallon tanks inches away from the light to see if I can get it to grow some more before I try wood again Smile

I am hoping to fill up some small outdoor tubs this summer with fissidens, peacock and xmas moss to see if any grow prodigiously in green water Smile

Do you mean in general or the flame moss I mentioned in the OP on that little piece of wood?
