Free aquarium, Redondo Beach

So today with my oceanography class we went to redondo beach to preform various experiments/ tests/ observations. I did a plankton tow and caught a jellyfish  Anyways, she got us into the aquarium there and it was really cool! There are two touch tanks(you can pet the fish lol!) and 11 other large tanks; 80 local species. I had a lot of fun and its open free to the public on Saturdays from 10 am- 2pm, and Salties is right next door. Sounds like a good weekend trip

 Sounds really neat. Do you know what types fish you where able to pEt?

I forget grr he told me too lol  they looked like the rock. There was only one sunflower sea star, he was telling us how they lost most of their sea stars. But there were a lot of really cool things you could touch, and there tanks were amazing.

This place is awesome... they aquaculture the native jellyfish on site, which definitely ain't easy.
