Anyone have thoughts on Apple Snails? I spent months trying to rid myself of them before I gave in. I'm trying to add Rams Horn snails from another tank now to offset their population with snails I really like.

| my 10 olive nerites arrive tomorrow. I'm going to put them in the Mpimbwe tank, the 180. They will clean the algae off the holey rock..then when the Mpimbwe get big enough, they will eat them.

I've heard that, but know very little about them. How are they with Bristle Plecs? What is your favorite type?

yo-yo is definatly the way to go, that or a zigzag. there are also dojo loaches if you want an eel look. they would all work great, and the more you get the more active they are, id recomend 3-5.

If you ever want to take a trip to Port Townsend you can spend as long as you want picking snail out of my tank for me. Food items or not, I'm just letting them grow for a while.

Mainly babies. It is a fairly messy tank at the moment, so they'll be happy and grow fast.
