Hawaiian volcano shrimp
Has anyone kept these? I've been reading a lot about them and found them fascinating and just want to know people's experiences on them

Re: Hawaiian volcano shrimp
These need saltwater to breed... but they're apparently very long-lived and quite hardy.

Re: Hawaiian volcano shrimp
if not THE most hardiest of ANY shrimp in the existence of planet earth. They're not called Super Shrimp for nothin' =P
But of course, that doesn't mean that we should keep them in harsh conditions (ecospheres, etc)

Indeed. Torture of crustaceans is, unfortunately, quite socially acceptable - whether it's these poor shrimp sealed into a glass ball or live crabs / lobsters / crayfish dumped into boiling water.
