Preggo Crystal Shrimp
First off.. kudos to anyone that can take a good picture of these as I found it quite a challenge to get this lame shot. Thought I would share. I heard from one pet store that the Crystal ones are the hardest to keep, but I am not doing anything special with them.

Re: Preggo Crystal Shrimp
Lol. But ghost shrimp are hard to keep. They die easier then any shrimps too. So you are doing something good.

Pretty sure Ghost shrimp larvae require salt, or at least brackish, water. Best Wishes...

Re: Preggo Crystal Shrimp
They don't need salt or brackish conditions, that is Amano shrimp.

Nope.
Amanos are bigger. And have spots... Look at the fake plant, gravel and endler in the background. Just Google "Ghost shrimp" & "Amano Shrimp", and look at the other stuff in the pictures as size reference.
Blatantly ghosts.

I mean Amano shrimp are the ones that need salt/brackish water for reproducing. Those are definitely ghost shrimp in the picture above. I avoid keeping them though because they eat the eggs your fish may lay, which is no bueno for breeding any type of egg layer.
