Nice looking Tropheus!
I got a shot of one of my Rainbows and a recently spit surviving fry, I also just found one living in my FX5 that I added back to the tank.. Buggers are hard to get pics of..

Very cool shot JimA and beautiful RR ! Tropheus can be hard to pin down for that special shot, I only have a cheap point'n shoot and it takes about 20 shots to get one that I even like enough to share Always happy to see the Tropheus there's nothing quite like them.

Im letting go of my group of RR... im getting some petrochromis and different type of trophs thats why im selling them... my group is consist of mix WC and F1.. 6m9f. 2m= WC 3f= WC and the rest are f1. The f1's are from vince, his a local breeder here in seattle also.. I got the f1's so I can have different bloodlines.. their all full grown..

Re: My Tropheus Kasakalawe and Katonga
Yes, this is the same group I got from Jeff. They were small when I got them but very beautiful and I still get excited watching them. They are now becoming a breeding machine , one just spit and I have another female in my holding tank that will spit at any moment. I also now have no less than 4 females holding in my main tank. I will move them to the holding tank in another 10-14 days.
Now I'm hoping my new group of Katonga will follow thru with breeding soon

Here are some shots of mine.

Most of my tropheus shots look like this. Just a little too fast for me.

I knew it.. when I went to jeffs house and saw them before, I was so tempted to buy them but I just dont have space for them...
Now that im currently setting up a 140 gal tank, I can house more...
Im planning to get some petrochromis red bulu point and some moshi..
For tropheus, im getting some tropheus ubwari green..

I wonder if there is an easier way to post photos directly from my ipad , otherwise I keep having to go up to my main computer and use the old photobucket routine ?

They look great! May I ask where you got them from? If you have any fry please let me know, would loe to diversify the bloodline.

Re: My Tropheus Kasakalawe and Katonga
I got them from another member of the GSAS about three years ago. With no tank space to raise fry these days, I don't pull holding females, so there's only an occasional survivor. If I ever do decide to save some fry, I'll let you know. I wouldn't mind trading some fry and get new blood into my group as well.Elblin wrote:They look great! May I ask where you got them from?
