is this watersprite?
This stuff grows like crazy in my tanks. An amazing top plant and can usually get about a half dozen new starts off every month or two.

Re: is this watersprite?
Hi CrazedAce,
It's a little difficult to tell from the picture, and my eyes aren't as young as they used to be, but it looks like Ceratopteris thalictroides (fine leaved watersprite). One of my favorite, easy to grow plants that is great for sucking up surplus ammonia, nitrites, nitrates in a new set-up that is going through the nitrogen cycle.

Yup, that's what it looks like in my thirty gallon. I moved all those plants into the 5gal because I honestly had nowhere else to put them. Seems like they do amazing with exposed roots.

Re: is this watersprite?
CrazedAce, yeah that looks like Watersprite. Damn, you have great luck with that stuff! I tried putting that in my tank and it just melted away. Hahahahahaha
Would love to have some of your clippings if you ever decide to get rid of any!

Re: is this watersprite?
I have a 5gal full of extras. If you're ever in the area, or if I'm ever up there (Might be up there the 23rd of March) I wouldnt mind getting rid of some.
Here's a better pic of it in my 28gal

Re: is this watersprite?
Yup, still got it overcrowding my betta tank. and probably another dozen or so more ready to be clipped. Though I think if i take the new plants and leave them in ten gallons, or my 5gal, i could sell more reliable, and less stress plants.
so yes, i have about 4-5 plants that are ready to go! I like trading rather than cash, if possible.
