thank you!! she is doing great and super active ^_^ she is in a 40 tall with killifish and dwarf rainbows, one ivory male snail and on dark purple female they are now my breeders!!
watching the babies crawl around the 10 gallon i would way 98% are purple? maybe even all of them and it is nearly split 50/50 so far on pail foot and dark foot!

Re: SNAILS..SNAILS EVERYWHERE!!
roll them up in a wet paper towel and put them in some sort of container - a plastic bag without water, or one of those plastic baby food containers or something. As long as it's not chock full of water

how long will they be ok like this? some people are across the country,
I was thinking of a bag full of air with enough water to keep the moist ..what is the purples of rolling them in the wet paper towel? (just curious..i have no clue)

Re: SNAILS..SNAILS EVERYWHERE!!
It prevents collisions and guarantees they stay wet. If they're just rolling around in a bag you'll get chipped shells or worse.
They should be okay like that for 2 - 3 days. That's how I got my first batch - rolled in paper towels and stuck in a plastic bag. I think I only lost 2 or 3 out of 17.

If they all die you heard it from someone else Seriously though, it worked for a batch of snails I bought years ago.
