Can anyone direct me to a list of countries and fish I can't import.? Currently looking at china and killifish eggs.

Just so you know I sent a letter a couple days ago to fish and wildlife asking for them to send me a list of prohibited species. I'll share if they get back to me.

They have a Aquatic Species Custom Search Engine that you can put the name of the species in and it might give you some idea.

Looking at the list for Washington I was surprised to see Bowfin listed. I had seen these for sale at Pet Pourii in Everett....

Yep, Bowfin and Gars are both illegal, and you can find them both at Pet Pouri..lol

thanks everyone, i was having trouble with the department of agriculture's web page, the fish and wild life one was helpfull as well as the mfk links. i guess i was over thinking the idea that killifish were shipped in peat, and could be considered soil wich appears to be no-no for importation.
