A new addition

Traded some fry for this awesome looking Pleco. It is an L191 a Royal Pleco. Not really knowing that it can reach 19".

Your going to be an old guy by the time that thing is 19". They grow real sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!

Not if I put it in a larger tank. Say a 2500 gal. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Then it may grow faster.

Actually it will grow slower. Say what? Yep it will take days for it to find food and it will get lost a lot so it slows the growth down tremendously!

That is freakin huge.

Its been awhile since I been up there but Pet Pourri used to have a pretty big one in their show tank.

I have one, i love it. It is almost always swimming around the tank looking for a snack.

Thank you. All of my plecos were out this morning (vampire, 2x mustard spot, gold nugget, and bristle nose) but no Royal. Im sure it is somewhere, it is a big tank.

Yeah Wolvwerine has the royals with white bar on Tail,,, I got 2 a while ago,,,haven't seen them since I got them in the 125,
