Hey, trying to setup my dad and his gf with a list of super easy aquarium plants, they want something that will grow under reg tubes with 24hour light, about 6 goldfish(no heat), and require no upkeep far as nutrients or Co2 they arent picky and wouldnt care what kind of plant so long as its green Razz

oh and the tank has been up for 11 years without even cleaning the gravel its pretty self reliant(clean water, gravel looks clean) all they do is add food and every now and then some water but rarely since its cold it doesnt evaporate much

Anacharis (Egeria densa) is extremely easy and is perfect for cold water setups. The goldfish may munch on it a little but it's pretty hardy so, I would imagine it will still do fine.

With goldfish it's hard to keep plants since they usually eat them over time, but here's a site that lists some hardy plants a woman has had experience with: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

when i was a kid i grew plants in my gold fish aquarium they were just bulbs that i bought in wal'mart...and the good thing about that is if they got eaten or died it just grew back because it was a bulb.
