Ok so I had some daisy polyps on this plug for a while now
and I just notice today, that the heads are gone the only thing new in the tank
are two peppermint shrimp that I pick up yesterday

No I dont think the shrimp would eat them. They can retract if disrupted. Dont throw away the plug. If there is any part of it left, it may come back.
The white part on top, is that glue or a piece of rock? Or will it blow off. It almost looks like a fungus, but cant tell from the pic. Looks like there are some zoa polyps on the front of it. A little algae on them too. Blow the algae off and set it in a medium flow area.

Do you have any coral dip..."Coral RX" It can be used to help corals heal. I mainly use it to dip the coral before putting it in my tank. It will kill any bad critters that may be hitchiking on it. There are alot of bugs or critters that will kill and eat coral you dont want in your tank.

How long have you had them (daisy), have they slowly disappeared or was is a fairly quick thing.

While the pep shrimp won't usually hurt them, you could have a set that does, or what you think are peppermint are actually camel.

it is possible that they pulled at them inadvertantly while gettting other food off your plug.

It may also be a light issue another parasite..........

Your best bet is to keep an eye on the shrimp and see their behavior, I would move the plug to a new location.

Unfortunately there are never any black and white answers to keeping these tanks, just like dogs and kids, same enviroment you never know what you are going to get. Very Happy
